This is the fascinating autobiography of Bill Murray, the son of Madalyn O’Hair. Mrs. O’Hair was the founder of the group American Atheists. She used her son as a pawn in filing the landmark lawsuit which ultimately led to the US Supreme Court prohibiting the Lord’s Prayer in public schools. She also tried but failed to emigrate to the Soviet Union with her young son in tow. In the end, God’s call proved stronger than his mother’s indoctrination, and young William became a Christian.
